New Sony Music International Head

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: Look for Edgar Berger, head of Sony Music Germany Switzerland Austria, to take over as Sony Music International head for the departing Richard Sanders. As head of the music group’s top-earning foreign territory, Berger’s career began as a corporate consultant before working as a TV journalist and political correspondent at RTL in Bonn and Berlin From 2000, he began to develop Bertelsmann's synergy management and from 2003, was in charge of the company's worldwide development. Berger has been Managing Director of Sony BMG Music Entertainment Germany since 2005 and has held the post of CEO since 2009, as head of SME Germany, Switzerland and Austria. (7/20p)
