Jay-Z, Kanye Pay Tribute to Fallen College Student

THRONE FOR A LOSS: Jay-Z and Kanye West have dedicated a song on their new Watch the Throne album to a Pace University student killed by a police officer. “Murder to Excellence” is dedicated to Danroy Henry, a 20-year-old from Easton, MA, who was killed last Oct. 17 as he drove from a disturbance outside a bar in Thornwood, N.Y., following Pace’s homecoming game. Police officer Aaron Hess said he fired to stop the driver after he was hit and thrown onto the car's hood. A grand jury cleared Hess of wrongdoing, while an autopsy found Henry’s alcohol level above the legal limit. The duo’s album, which was released to iTunes yesterday morning, is now on track to blow past the 500k mark when it debuts on the charts next week. (8/9a)
