Darus at A-Blake

DARUS TO BE DIFFERENT: Respected 20-year industry vet Dave Darus has been named President of Houston-based indie label A-Blake Records by founder Blake Barnes. Darus was previously Marketing Director, and has been responsible for the marketing/promotion campaigns for the label’s flagship alt rock band Pale and Country singer/songwriter Jason Cassidy. Spearheading campaigns for Maroon 5 and Asher Roth, Darus has been successful at initiating and developing plans for several major labels, including Interscope, Island and Polydor Records, creating and leading the promotional campaigns for artists as varied as Elton John, the Bee Gees, Queens of the Stone Age, U2 and Tonic.
