Van Halen Release Party

READY TO GET TATTOOED? This week's hot ticket is the Van Halen release party for their new album, A Different Kind of Truth, at the Henson Recording Studios, the old A&M lot, this Wednesday (2/1). The intimate performance follows the band's show at N.Y.'s Cafe Wha? earlier this month, the venerable Village venue owned by David Lee Roth's 92-year-old Uncle Manny. The new release is the first featuring Roth as lead singer with the band since 1984 28 years ago. (1/30p)
