Tunc Erim Passes

TUNC ERIM, 76, longtime right-hand man and executive assistant to Ahmet Ertegun as well as Atlantic Records SVP Promotion/Marketing, passed away Saturday morning (3/3). Erim, a fellow Turk with a thick accent, was one of the chief movers in establishing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. He is survived by wife Susan. A service will be held at the Riverside Memorial Chapel in N.Y. for Wednesday (3/7). Contact Judy Libow or Pat Shields for info. (3/5a)
