YouTube music bigger than sub services combined--DMN

FUN WITH NUMBERS: Nearly 40% of YouTube's trillion-plus annual views come from music videos, which makes the YouTube music sector bigger than Spotify, Rhapsody, Grooveshark (and Rdio, MOG, Deezer and eMusic) combined, according to Digital Music News calculations. Here's the Top 5 in terms of total plays in 2011, which DMN put together using figures from the companies themselves and various studies:

1. YouTube music videos: 384 billion
2. Pandora: 98 billion
3. Spotify: 37 billion
4. Rhapsody: 7 billion
5. Grooveshark: 2 billion
