The Echo Friendly do "Same Mistakes"

VIRAL VIDEO OF THE DAY: Brooklyn-based indie buzz band The Echo Friendly—best friends and ex-lovers Jake Rabinach and Shannon Esper—perform “Same Mistakes,” which was featured on last night’s episode of HBO’s Girls. Check it out. Their debut album, on their own LightiningBoats imprint through Cantora Records, is coming later this spring. Recorded at Memphis' High/Low Studios with producers Jake Vest and Greg Faison, it is described as chronicling the pair's "turbulent relationship in a moody song cycle equal parts digital age correspondence and anthemic pop."
