Andre 3000 Plays Hendrix

ANDRE 3000 PLAYS JIMI: OutKast's Andre 3000 is set to star as Jimi Hendrix in a biopic that focuses on the legendary guitarist’s time in England from 1966 through ’67 before breaking in the U.S.. All Is by My Side is currently in pre-production with writer/director John Ridley, who penned the screenplays for Three Kings and U-Turn, in Ireland. Andre 3000 has had previous roles in Idlewild, Four Brothers and Any Given Sunday, among other feature films. (5/7p)
