MACKING FOR THE MAC: Just Tell Me That You Want Me: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac is slated for release Aug. 14 on Hear Music/Concord. The 17-track collection, produced by acclaimed film/TV music supervisor Randall Poster with Gelva Robb, the team behind last year’s Grammy-nominated Rave On Buddy Holly album on Fantasy, features music from throughout the group’s stylistically diverse 45-year history. The album includes covers by Best Coast (“Rhiannon”), ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons & Co. (“Oh Well”), The Kills (“Dreams”), Lee Ranaldo with J. Mascis (“Albatross”) and MGMT (“Future Games”).
