Cee Lo gets sitcom deal

CEE LO THE ENTERTAINER: Cee-lo Green may be the hardest-working man in showbiz. On the eve of the season three premiere of The Voice tonight, NBC announced that the multitasking artist has inked a deal to star in a new scripted comedy loosely based on his life. Green and his newly formed Emerald Productions will develop and produce a sitcom about a pop star who balances his career with his home life, with Cee Lo playing a version of himself. Apparently, he doesn’t quite have enough to do between The Voice, making records and doing a Vegas run. Dude’s come a long way since Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” put him on the map in 2006. (9/10a)
