Blake rips Simon

THE MOUTHS THAT ROARED: We don’t yet know who won the ratings battle last night between the third straight episode of The Voice and the first half of the two-hour premiere of The X Factor, but the war of words is already going strong. During an Access Hollywood interview with Michele Beadle, Blake Shelton aggressively reacted to Simon Cowell’s recent statements that the head-to-head scheduling violated a "gentleman's agreement" and he was "pissed off" about it. Said the straight-talking Shelton: "He's been doing it since [The Voice] came on the air. Every time I turn around the guy is mouthing off. Don't y'all wish you had time to bitch and moan like that? It's like, 'Do you own show! Come on! Put something together there and do you thing.' We'll just do ours and we won't mouth off about you. I wish I had that much time. The guy must just have more free time than he knows what to do with." (9/13a)
