ITUNES TOP SELLERS: Can Mumford & Sons’ Babel top 600k today? That’s the big question as we count down to this afternoon’s HITS Album chart. What we do know is that the deluxe edition of the Glassnote album is #1 on today’s iTunes tally, followed by Three Days Grace’s Transit of Venus (RCA), the deluxe edition of Muse’s The 2nd Law (WB), Miguel’s Kaleidoscope Dream (RCA), Cher Lloyd’s Sticks & Stones (Epic); the regular edition of the Muse album, Cody Simpson’s Paradise (Atlantic), Diana Krall’s Glad Rag Doll (Verve), Mumford’s regular version of Babel and P!nk’s The Truth About Love (RCA). Note the presence of three albums in the Top 10 for Peter Edge and Tom Corson's heating-up Nipper label. On the singles side, One Direction’s “Live While We’re Young” dominates after briefly going on sale yesterday at 99 cents, apparently in error, before going to the regular price of $1.29. (10/2a)
