Island Rolls Out Welcome Matt for The Mowgli's

WELCOME MATT: New IDJ A&R exec Matt Galle has the first signing to his Photo Finish/Island label in L.A. eight-piece The Mowgli’s, who have been compared to Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Grouplove and fun. You can check out the music here. And while they formed in the San Fernando Valley, the band’s single, “San Francisco,” has been adopted by Giants’ fans during their current post-season run (see video below), and will be included on the group’s five-song EP, Love’s Not Dead, to be released digitally on Oct. 30. Galle’s label was previously at Atlantic and he also doubles as an agent at Paradigm. (10/19p)
