Guggenheim in talks for VEVO

VINI, VIDI, VEVO: Talks between Todd Boehly's Guggenheim Partners and online video outlet VEVO are said to be on the fast track and could be closing as soon as this week. Details of the acquisition are yet to be revealed as the aggressive Guggenheim looks to expand its platform in the music sector. As you know, VEVO is currently co-owned by UMG, Sony Music and Abu Dhabi Media; back in April, various sources reported that Guggenheim was angling for a controlling stake in the company. (6/12a)
