Page Six shit

WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT PAGE SIX? This morning’s section had oodles of music and sports item. We learned, for starters, that Jay-Z sipped D’Usse cocktails while watching his Roc Nation protégé J. Cole perform at the rapper’s free Irving Plaza concert, raising his glass to salute Drake, who popped in to perform with Cole. Kate Upton was seen partying with LA Clippers star Blake Griffin Wednesday night, in L.A., though sources insist that the supermodel is actually still smitten with Dancing With the Stars hoofer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Further, the aforementioned Drake was turned away by security after he tried to gain entry into the Heat’s locker room after their victory over the Spurs in Game 7 of the NBA Finals last night. And they have video footage to prove it. Moving right along, Beyoncé was spotted causing a mild commotion while sniffing flowers outside a bodega in Chelsea at 10:30 p.m. before hopping into a chauffeured Escalade. Moving to the Middle East, Barbra Streisand used her first-ever public performance in Israel to stump for Hillary Clinton. Meanwhile, in Cannes, Sean “Diddy” Combs had some explaining to do after telling the world’s advertising elite, “I hate watching commercials just like anybody else.” Finally, in the biggie, it was revealed that Chris Brown has axed his duet with ex-girlfriend Rihanna from his forthcoming album, the aptly titled X, and is refusing to budge on the matter despite demands from his unnamed record label, which we believe to be RCA. On the same subject—and this is us talking, not Page Six—Brown is performing at KPWR’s Powerhouse gathering this weekend. Additionally, the clip he released this week containing a hologram of Aliyah has, not surisingly, received quite a bit of press pickup. And that’s all, folks. (6/21a)
