Made for Pearl

MOTHERS OF PEARL: The Janis Joplin estate, in tandem with Jampol Artist Management, has rolled out an apparel, jewelry and accessories line that brings the late rock-soul vocalist's trend-setting style to consumers. Made for Pearl reflects Joplin's signature "boho-chic" approach. The preview collection is online now with pants, rompers, necklaces, bangles, rings, bags, wristlets and more. MFP was developed by Janis' niece Malyn Joplin and designer Katie Kay Mead. As Joplin herself famously declared, "You feel all things at once, so why not wear all things at once?" We can't wait to see how Jeff Jampol looks in granny glasses and a big flouncy skirt. (9/4p)
