TEA

ANYONE FOR TEA? Robin Thicke and Imagine Dragons, IGA’s usual suspects in both album and single sales, got an additional boost from Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga and Gatsby to once again grab the top perch in the weekly TEA competition. Like Thicke and Dragons, Del Rey scored a double-double, as her 12.6k album sales were slightly bested by her 12.9k track-equivalent tally on “Summertime Sadness.” The Iovine-Janick express put enough combined points on the scoreboard to edge Columbia, the week’s new-release marketshare runaway winner, which placed nine albums in the Top 50 (see 9/4 item). Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake combined to move a buttload of singles for #3 RCA, and #4 CMG, of course, has Katy Perry. (9/5a)
