GOODBYE, GLEE: FOX's landmark musical series Glee will sing itself off next season. So says co-creator Ryan Murphy, who announced at last night's event for sister network FX that the song-filled dramedy's sixth season will be its last. The death of co-star Corey Monteith will apparently influence the direction of the series finale. The Quarterback, the Glee tribute EP honoring Monteith and his character, Finn Hudson, bowed at #7 on the HITS Album Sales Chart this week. Murphy's latest series, American Horror Story: Coven, meanwhile, has no shortage of bewitching music cues; recent episodes have employed classic rock acts like Fleetwood Mac and Iron Butterfly.
