Music Oscar noms we care about

SOUND & VISION: Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" from Frozen, Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” from Despicable Me 2, U2’s “Ordinary Love” from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and Karen O's "The Moon Song" from Her (co-written by director Spike Jonze) are up for Best Song, while Arcade Fire's score for Her (credited to Will Butler and Owen Pallett because the Academy allows only two composers to be listed) and Thomas Newman's score for Disney's Saving Mr. Banks are up for an Oscar in that category. And the Gil Friesen-produced 20 Feet From Stardom has been nominated for Best Documentary Feature. (1/16a)
