Rixton

STRAIGHT OUTTA MANCHESTER: The growth of Pop band Rixton (Schoolboy/Giant Little Man/Mad Love/Interscope) has been powered jointly by Schoolboy’s Scooter Braun, Giant Little Man’s Zvi Edelman, Mad Love’s Benny Blanco (who wrote with and produced the band) and Interscope’s John Janick. The foursome from Manchester, U.K., first made noise with their YouTube clips, including covers of songs in different genres, catching Braun’s ear; the clip for their "Make Out" has earned more than 1.1 million views. Their “Me and My Broken Heart” recently became the iTunes Single of the Week and is making noise at Pop, jumping #35-27 on the Mediabase Top 40 chart. The troupe’s EP of the same name is out and selling. The video debuts on MTV’s Artists to Watch, VEVO and Teen Nick on Wednesday (3/26); Rixton wind up their U.S. tour dates this week and will soon kick off their U.K. leg, with more Stateside shows in May.
