ACM All-Star salute to the Troops Concert Special

DEFENDING THE COUNTRY: Tonight at 9pm ET/PT, CBS will air ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops, a two-hour concert special that places country superstars onstage with musicians from the armed forces. Luke Bryan, Merle Haggard, George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Kellie Pickler and the Eli Young Band will be among the performers joined by service people from Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy. LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell are the co-hosts. The show, overseen by CBS EVP Specials, Live Music & Events Jack Sussman and VP Content & Product Strategy Jeff Grossman, taped on 4/7 in Las Vegas. During the event, Keith was surprised with a Spirit of the USO honor in recognition of his many USO treks and support of the military. (5/20a)
