Shawn Mendes

BRINGING THE "PARTY" TO YOU: Shawn Mendes did a last-minute pop-up show in the middle of Times Square earlier this week in celebration of his #1 iTunes hit, "Life of the Party." Island will drop his debut EP on 7/28, just before he hits the road with Austin Mahone, The Vamps and Fifth Harmony for a joint summer tour. The 15-year-old Toronto native won RyanSeacrest.com’s Best Cover Song Contest with his rendition of A Great Big World's "Say Something." The just-released, heart-wrenching video for "Life of the Party," a first-person account of puppy love gone toxic, can be found here, but be forewarned: It may not be suitable for some adults.
