Uk chart adds streaming

BROOKING THE STREAMS: We've been bringing you the top U.K. albums each week, courtesy of The Official Charts Company, but here's some news on the Brit outfit's singles rundown: It now incorporates streaming. The Top 40 chart tabulates 100 streams as equivalent to one single sale, London's Guardian reports, and "Problem" by Republic's Ariana Grande f/Iggy Azalea tops the first count under the new methodology. In other new British rules, seven crumpets now equal four scones, and two figgy puddings count as one spotted dick. (7/7p)
