DOWNLOAD THIS: Turnover Tuesday, bitches! No, we don't expect this radical realignment of the iTunes chart to be the new status quo. Still, an array of new releases have certainly shaken up both the albums and singles Top 10s. Sure, One Direction's new SYCO/Columbia set (in pre-order since yesterday) and Maroon 5's V (which will top our Album Sales Chart mere hours from now) bookend the album side. But we see new arrivals from Def Jam's Jhené Aiko, Blue Note's Ryan Adams, Harvest's Banks, Country bros Lee Brice (Curb) and Dustin Lynch (Broken Bow), and Matador's Alt-rock innovators Interpol raiding the leaderboard. On the singles side, DCD2/Island's Fall Out Boy comes on strong with "Centuries," which is held from the top only by the mighty Tay-Tay, while Broken Bow bro Jason Aldean jumps past a passel of divas. Look for much volatility in the download world today (and for Apple to announce new ways to play your tunes). (9/9a)
