Jayne Simon obit

JAYNE NECHES SIMON, a sales and marketing exec known for her smarts and feistiness, died on Sunday following a prolonged battle with cancer. She was 66. The native New Yorker and longtime Angelena is remembered as a force of nature by her colleagues at A&M, Zoo and MCA. Wrote fellow A&M alumna Cheryl McEnaney on the label’s Facebook page, “I am so very, very sad for her loss—for all of us who were fortunate enough to know her, to work with her in the halcyon A&M days, may her spirit soar now, free of battle and pain.” (10/20a)
