Disturbed, whose lead singer David Draiman is the man in question, have opened the arc at the top of the charts this week, as the Reprise rockers’ Indestructible album cops #1 with almost 250k in sales.

Capitol/EMI’s Now 28 bows at #2 with 183k, one of six separate newcomers to the Top 10.

Last week’s chart-topper, LaFace/ZLG’s Usher, dips to #3 with 140k, followed by a trio of debuts in DGC/Interscope’s Weezer (#4), FrontiersJourney, a Wal-Mart exclusive (#5) and The Inc./Universal Motown’s Ashanti (#6). Big Machine's Jewel also enters the Top 10 in its first week at #8.

New Line’s Sex and the City soundtrack (#7) and Universal Republic’s 3 Doors Down (#9) are the only other holdovers, with the Jive/ZLG expanded edition of Chris Brown’s Exclusive album returning to the Top 10 (#10).

Capitol’s Radiohead Best of enters at #13, with the label’s Now Classic Rock (#20), Interscope’s Gavin Rossdale (#30), Side One Dummy’s Van’s Warped Tour ’08 and heavy rockers Opeth’s Roadrunner debut (#43) also making their Top 50 bows.

Walt Disney RecordsDisneymania 6 is the week’s top gainer, up 26% at #24, followed by Atlantic’s Kid Rock, up 19%. Others in the black include Island’s Mariah Carey (#11, +2%), Big Machine’s Taylor Swift (#14, +6%), Walt Disney Records’ Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds (#37, +4%), Mercury Nashville’s Sugarland (#40, +1%) and Arista Nashville’s Alan Jackson (#42).

Arista Nashville’s Brad Paisley (#48) and Capitol Nashville’s Lady Antebellum (#49) both return to the Top 50.
