LANCO'S LANCASTER IS FEELIN' "GREAT"
10/12/17

Songwriter/lead singer Brandon Lancaster—of Arista Nashville band LANCO—has become the first country artist/writer in 10 years to pen a chart-topping hit alone, as he celebrates going #1 on the Top 60 Country Songwriters Chart this week, based on streams, sales and airplay. The early 2000s saw similar success from Taylor Swift (“Our Song”), Zac Brown (“Free”) and Jennifer Nettles (“Stay”).

The song, LANCO's "Greatest Love Story," meanwhile, holds its ground atop Shazam's country chart. It's also #14 and climbing when it comes to airplay.

The band's debut album—produced by Grammy winner Jay Joyce—is expected to drop early next year.
