LIDO'S PEDER ARRIVES

Hailing from a small Norwegian town, artist/producer Lido, nee Peder Losnegård, has dropped his highly anticipated sophomore album, PEDER.

Released via Because Music on 9/18, the album is packed with features from the likes of R&B songstress JoJo, Col3tane, PRETTYMUCH’s Brandon Arreaga, Ebenezer, Heavy Mellow and more.

Arriving as an audio-visual story from the perspective of a boy named Peder, the 12-track album includes previously released singles “How to Do Nothing,” “Postclubridehomemusic” and “Rise.”

Ahead of the album drop, Lido released a special interstellar radio mix entitled SpaceFM, which invited fans to experience Peder hearing music for the first time. He also wrote a children’s book to accompany the album titled The Boy On The Spaceship.

Giving a glimpse into his musical trajectory, PEDER parallels his relationship to music and in return, the collection of songs have a warm feeling to it. It’s experimental, expansive and inspiring, highlighting just how boundless Lido is to genres.

With over 1m monthly Spotify listeners, Lido has collaborated with the likes of Halsey, Chance The Rapper, Banks, Jaden Smith, Mariah Carey, Skrillex and more. He most recently produced on JoJo’s good to know album as well as Executive Produced Aluna’s debut solo album, Renaissance, and produced six tracks off Halsey’s Manic.

AJA HAS THE LOVE

After the success of her single, “NERVE,” Canadian singer/songwriter AJA returns with her latest track, “Who’s Gonna Love You.” Released on 8/28, the single has hints of electronica and takes a stand against toxic relationships.

In addition to her music career, AJA is a full-time student in Toronto and by the age of 12, the she had inked a deal with legendary songwriter/producer Billy Mann. In 2017, she dropped her first-ever single, “Heart Won’t Beat,” and it quickly rose to prominence on Radio Disney.

UNKNOWN BRAIN’S INTERSELLAR SINGLE

Electronic duo Unknown Brain have returned after a six-month hiatus with their newest single, “Dancing on The Moon.” Released via NoCopyrightSounds on 9/4, the single features vocals from British singer Luke Barr, giving us a slice of pop-electronica heaven.

Since releasing their debut in 2016, the duo have been creating waves in the electronic scene with hits such as “Superhero,” “Control,” and “Why Do I?,” among others. Consistently delivering quality productions, they’ve resonated with a growing global fanbase. With Spotify streaming numbers putting them alongside the likes of Porter Robinson, Cashmere Cat and more, the faceless act is bound keep growing.
