WHAT IT IS: Following collaborative singles with spill tab and Jordana in 2023, Yot Club—neé John Ryan Kaiser—will release Rufus, a 13-track album that explores themes of juxtaposition, introspection and nostalgia through Kaiser’s signature lo-fi sound and relatable storytelling. The LP—which includes co-writes with Tommy English (Carly Rae Jepsen, Kacey Musgraves), Brooklyn-based artist/songwriter Harrison Lipton and singer Charli Adams, with mixes by Patrick Wimberly (Lil Yachty, Joji, Blood Orange, MGMT)—contains Yot Club’s boldest, brightest songs yet.
