WHAT IT IS: Nashville-based trio Nightly— Jonny Capeci, Joey Beretta and Nick Sainato—are making a name for themselves in the alt-pop scene. In August, they dropped their sophomore album, wear your heart out, written with the intention of being played live and featuring tracks like “hate my favorite band,” “radiohead,” “dry eyes,” the title track and lead single. “like i do.” The latter hit 2m+ impressions on TikTok and 228.6k+ views on YouTube, while the band donated the music-video budget to a nonprofit animal shelter. Nightly is presently on a headline U.S. tour in support of the album.
