WCM INKS NATANAEL CANO
5/11/22

Warner Chappell Music has inked Natanael Cano to a global pub deal.

A pioneer of corridos tumbados movement, which blends trap and Mexican corridos music, Cano—who releases music under Warner Music Latina/Rancho Humilde and his label, Los CT—made waves in 2019 when he collaborated with Bad Bunny on the four-time platinum-certified “Soy El Diablo (Remix).”

He’s since claimed several #1s, including the eight-time platinum-certified “El Drip” from his album Corridos Tumbados, which topped the Regional Mexican Albums chart.

Most recently, the 21-year-old hit the Coachella stage and debuted multiple songs from his new album, NataKong, which earned him his first Top 10 hit on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart.

“Nata is a unique talent, who at such a young age, has already secured his legacy in the industry,” said Gustavo Menéndez, President, U.S. Latin & Latin America, WCM. “We are proud that he’s entrusted us to be his publisher and continue to help pave the way.”

Cano adds, “I’m excited to join forces with Gustavo and the Warner Chappell team to share my music on a global scale. With our shared vision, I know we’ll accomplish great things together.”
