While the difficulties associated with the new marketplace can be all-consuming, it’s heartening to see some pubco execs embracing the opportunities as well. Atlas chief Richard Stumpf, for example, dedicated a recent op-ed to strategies for highlighting the visibility of songwriters on streaming platforms and elsewhere, and noted that in the new consumption model, “mechanicals become a perpetual, versus a one-time event.” What are your big ideas for escaping the confines of he status quo?
