TAYLOR JUKES EARNS SVP STRIPES

iHeartMedia has tapped Taylor Jukes as svp of programming for San Diego, effective immediately.

Jukes joins the San Diego team from iHeartMedia Miami, where she was program director of WHYI (Y100).

Reporting to iHeartMedia San Deigo’s Market President Noreen Ippolito, Jukes will now oversee stations like KHTS (Pop), KMYI (Hot AC), KIOZ (Active Rock) and KSSX (Rhythm), among others. Additionally, Jukes will retain her role on the iHeart CHR Brand Team.

Prior to joining Y100 in April 2019, she served as Sr. manager of national content for iHeartRadio Canada and PD of CKFM (99.9 Virgin Radio)/Toronto. She also previously held programming and on-air roles at Alternative CHHR (Shore 104)/Vancouver, BC, Virgin Radio Vancouver, Top 40 CHBN Edmonton, AB and more.

"We are so excited to welcome Taylor into our San Diego cluster. Her knowledge of the audio business and track record speak for themselves. We are eager for Taylor to bring her skill set and big ideas from Miami to an already incredible cluster of stations," said Ippolito.

"I'm thrilled to be heading back to the West Coast to join the team in beautiful San Diego, where they have strong heritage brands and an amazing roster of talent!" added Jukes. "Thanks to Noreen Ippolito and Gene Romano for this incredible programming leadership opportunity."
