A BATTLE FOR THE TOP AT POP

It seems the next battle for #1 is brewing between Warner Bros.Jason Derulo with “Want To Want Me” and “Shut Up and Dance” by RCA’s Walk The Moon. With only 200 or so spins separating them and both with a 1000+ spin increase, it looks like both will have their day—but who will get there first?

Island/Republic’s Tove Lo moves up and looks headed for Top 5 with “Talking Body.” ”Bad Blood” by Big Machine/Republic’s Taylor Swift will not only come screaming up the chart, but should land inside the Top 15 on her impact week. Maroon 5’s “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt ...” (222/Interscope) will also chart and will land Top 25 on their impact week.

Also due to chart this week: Island/Republic’s Fall Out Boy with Alt monster “Uma Thurman” and MCA Nashville/Capitol’s Sam Hunt with the Country crossover track “Take Your Time.”
