OLYKAN CAN! COUNTRY VET JOINS LIVE NATION

Country-music veteran Milly Olykan is coming aboard Live Nation as SVP of Artist Development and Global Touring, where she'll help grow the company's worldwide country and Americana strategies.

Olykan will report to Live Nation President of Touring Omar Al-joulani, who said, "Milly’s extensive experience and industry connections make her a great asset to expand touring in those genres worldwide."

Prior to her arrival at Live Nation, Olykan spent seven years as VP of International Relations and Development at the Country Music Association, where she also served as interim director of the annual CMA Fest.

She helped establish the U.K.'s annual Country to Country festival while VP of Live Music and Major Arena Events at AEG Presents. In that role, she won the CMA Jo Walker Meador International Award for her contributions to developing the format.

“It’s been a privilege to have built so many meaningful relationships worldwide, and I’m excited to continue advancing that mission from my new role at Live Nation," Olykan said.
