The ASCAP Foundation will be stuffing the stockings of more than 70 music fans with its fourth annual holiday auction, which features offerings from artists including Chappell Roan, Akon, Selena Gomez and USHER.
The “Yeah” man kicked in the biggest-ticket item for the auction, which began today (12/4) and runs through 12/18: a package of two VIP concert tickets for his 2025 European tour, including a meet and greet and travel vouchers.
Also up for grabs are a studio tour and lunch or dinner with Jermaine Dupri and lunch or dinner in L.A. or Atlanta with Akon. Signed items include vinyl from Roan, Olivia Rodrigo and David Kushner, guitars from Jack Antonoff and Peter Frampton and the memoirs of Bernie Taupin and Neil Young.
ASCAP Foundation Executive Director Nicole George-Middleton said, “This year’s auction is bigger and better than ever. We are unbelievably grateful to the ASCAP community for these incredible contributions, which will help us raise the funds we need to continue supporting the next generation of music creators.”
The auction is live at CharityBuzz.com. If only HITS could bid on eternal contentment (or at least momentary competence).
