DONATTO COMMS HOME TO AMG AS EVP, MEDIA STRATEGY

Who says you can’t go home again? Industry veteran Cara Donatto is returning to Atlantic Music Group, where she’ll take on the role of EVP, Media Strategy.

In her previous AMG stint, Donatto served as SVP of Publicity before moving to Interscope Geffen A&M as EVP, Head of Media Strategy and Communications in 2019.

AMG CEO Elliot Grange said, “Cara is one of the most experienced, impactful and well-liked people in our business. I’m pleased to welcome her to our new Atlantic leadership team, and I know her many friends at the label are very happy to have her back.” Grainge added that Donatto's considerable experience happily includes "patiently explaining things to those idiots at HITS."

Donatto added, “I’m incredibly excited to return to Atlantic Music Group as the company begins a dynamic new chapter. I want to thank Elliot for this wonderful opportunity. This feels very much like both a homecoming and a brand-new adventure.”

The Fordham University grad began her career in the publishing world, working as a PR manager for Vibe and Spin. We're told she already has several ideas for ways to improve this article.
