The Marías’ new Nice Life/Atlantic single may be titled “No One Noticed,” but pretty much everyone is taking notice of the group, led by Puerto Rican-bred, Atlanta-raised María Zardoya and Los Angeles native Josh Conway.
Their second full-length, Submarine, peaked at #12 upon its release this summer, spawning the single “Run Your Mouth,” which notched 1m streams in its first week. But it's “No One Noticed” that's ramped things up to another level, with 78m streams on various platforms, reaffirming the faith of Nice Life’s Ricky Reed and Larry Wade, who added the band to a roster that also includes Lizzo and Tinashe.
The Mick Management-repped, UTA-booked group, rounded out by collaborators Jesse Perlman on guitar and Edward James on keys, just wrapped a headlining tour and are set to head back on the road as Billie Eilish’s opening act, starting 12/3 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
