The Weeknd has set a 1/24 release date for his XO/Republic album Hurry Up Tomorrow and will celebrate with a gigantic one-off the next day at the Rose Bowl.
The artist will debut new production at the Live Nation-promoted date, with the stage occupying the entire stadium floor. Tickets go on sale 12/2.
Hurry Up Tomorrow, meanwhile, is now available to pre-order in a variety of formats from The Weeknd's website. Sadly, a facsimile of the white beard (with string attachments, natch) he wears on the cover of Dawn FM is not currently available for purchase.
The new LP will complete a trilogy that includes the aforementioned 2022 chart-topper as well as After Hours (2020). It's home to the singles "Dancing in the Flames," "Timeless" with Playboi Carti and "Sao Paulo" featuring Anitta. Another cut, "Open Hearts," is only available through Apple Vision Pro.
In related news, earlier this week Abel became the first artist to achieve 22 songs each in excess of 1b streams on Spotify. HITS can still barely count past our own 10 fingers.
