MUSIC FORWARD OBSERVES APPRENTICE WEEK

Music Forward, Live Nation’s charity arm, is spending National Apprenticeship Week promoting its first-of-its-kind, federally recognized program offering training and other professional development, mentorship and coaching in music and live entertainment.

Participating partners include the Centinela Valley Union High, Compton Unified and Los Angeles Unified school districts, the California Department of Education’s Arts, Media and Entertainment and Career Technical Education industry-sector schools and Compton College.

Music Forward's apprenticeship program is open to anyone 18-24. Career pathways include lighting tech, grip/rigger, special-events coordinator and talent coordinator.
