IS IT CHRISTMAS YET?

Who cares that we have yet to gobble up that turkey or feast on Aunt Tilly’s pumpkin pie or avoid talking politics with Uncle Rex? Universal Music Group has announced the launch of its 2024 “FAN-sational Holiday.” Running through 12/2, the e-commerce "experience" is open to the U.S. market, with plans to go global.

Fans can visit the "FAN-sational" website to access daily promotions using a secular advent calendar (see above), check out various holiday collections and score deals on exclusive releases by The Rolling Stones, Sabrina Carpenter, KISS and other UMG acts.

“We wanted to create a new, fun and engaging way for fans to connect with some of their favorite artists,” UMG’s Alexandra Hinkle said. “With 'FAN-sational' we've curated an exciting program of activities dedicated to our artists' fans around the world that will not only entertain but provide support for some of the communities most in need at this time of year. Also, would someone tell those HITS idiots to stop smoking our Christmas tree?”

Fans will be able to support a range of charitable partners, including World Central Kitchen, as part of the Holiday Give Back program.

Oh, and for those dying to know the answer to the burning question we asked in the headline, go here.
