CAA CLIENTS CORRAL 116 GRAMMY NODS

You could almost hear the champagne bottles popping in Century City when the Grammy nominees were announced 11/8, as CAA client names were read aloud a whopping 116 times, according to the agency.

They included leading nominee Beyoncé (11), plus Sabrina Carpenter and Shaboozey, with six each. Beyoncé is up for Album, Record and Song of the Year and multiple genre honors, while Carpenter will compete in the Big 4 thanks to her Best New Artist nod.

Other CAA clients with multiple nominations include Jack Antonoff, who was snubbed for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical despite winning the past three years but was nonetheless acknowledged for his writing and production work on Taylor Swift’s blockbuster THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT and Carpenter’s “Please Please Please."

Green Day and Metro Boomin earned four nods each for CAA.

Several agents had career mornings thanks to the news, from longtime chief and Beyoncé rep Rob Light to Jenna Adler (Charli xcx, Shaboozey, Green Day) and Jeff Frasco, Marlene Tsuchii and Mario Tirado (Carpenter).

"We’re incredibly proud to see so many of our clients recognized with Grammy nominations this year,” said Rick Roskin, CAA co-head of Global Touring. “These artists have not only redefined the music landscape with their groundbreaking work but made a profound impact on the road—selling out shows. Their nominations are a testament to both their artistic vision and the unparalleled power of their live performances.”

HITS was unable to confirm rumors that the new music leadership triumvirate of Roskin, Darryl Eaton and Emma Banks (pictured) painted their faces Grammy gold.
