As expected, reunited Brit rockers Oasis will bring their reunion tour to South America next year, in the form of five stadium shows.
Liam and Noel Gallagher will hit Buenos Aires (11/15-16), Santiago (11/19) and Sao Paulo (11/22-23) as part of Oasis' first trek since 2009, which has been an instant worldwide sellout.
"Carnival has come early,” the band said. “Fix up. Look sharp. Oasis will see you soon."
Promoted by Live Nation, SJM, MCD and DFC Presents, the tour begins 7/4 in Cardiff, Wales, and will hit North American stadiums 8/24 in Toronto.
Oasis is managed by Ignition's Marcus Russell, who began working with the band in 1993, just before it exploded in the U.K. with its debut album, Definitely Maybe. Liam’s manager, Sam Eldridge at UROK, is also said to be involved.
Meanwhile, HITS may or may not be found busking outside these venues, offering up our deeply substandard version of "Wonderwall."
