With Lil Uzi Vert's Eternal Atake 2 due for release Friday (11/1) via Generation Now/Atlantic, wonderers are wondering whether the lack of pre-release singles might put a dent in its opening-week numbers.
The rapper's Luv Is Rage 2 bowed with 135k in August 2017 and is now at 6.1m ATD, while the original Eternal Atake shifted 288k in its March 2020 opening frame (3.8m ATD) and Pink Tape debuted with 167k in June 2023 (1.23m ATD). The Uzi team surely hopes this downward trend will not continue with Atake 2.
Managed by Roc Nation, the artist made the jump to arenas on a Live Nation-promoted 2023 tour in support of Pink Tape. He’s most recently been heard as a guest on the hit Nicki Minaj single "Everybody" and tracks by Destroy Lonely and Don Toliver.
