Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra will radiate for a final time 7/13/2025 as part of London's BST Hyde Park, paying off an unlikely 10-year victory lap for a group that had been dormant since 1986.
“My return to touring began at Hyde Park in 2014,” said Lynne, 76, who is the only core member still performing in ELO. “It seems like the perfect place to do our final show. We couldn’t be more excited to share this special night in London with our U.K. fans. As the song goes, ‘We’re gonna do it one more time!’”
ELO's Over and Out Tour (Live Nation), previously announced as the 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee's farewell, has been on the road since August, with North American dates booked through 10/26 at Kia Forum.
The set lists have been loaded with hits like "Do Ya," "Xanadu," "Evil Woman," "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Mr. Blue Sky," as well as "Handle With Care," from the all-star band The Traveling Wilburys, of which Lynne was a member (along with Dylan, Petty, Harrison and Orbison).
Please excuse HITS while we mutter the chorus of "Turn to Stone" in your general direction.
