CD BABY WELCOMES MARKETING WHISPERER MISCHLER

Downtown Music direct-to-creator division, CD Baby, has appointed Jean Mischler to SVP, marketing. She'll be based in New York and report directly to CD Baby President Molly Neuman.

"Jean's passion for music and her nearly 20 years of experience championing artists and independence make her an invaluable addition to our leadership team," Neuman said. "Her approach to marketing and deep understanding of the independent music landscape will be instrumental as we expand CD Baby’s reach to independent artists around the world."

Mischler previously served as VP of growth marketing at Sofar Sounds, where she led the growth marketing team and programs as the company prepared to return to in-person concerts following the pandemic. In her new role, she'll oversee all marketing efforts across CD Baby and its suite of services, including Soundrop and CD Baby Stages. She'll also send our emails to trash.
