WONG, KEELEY-CARTER MAKING MOVES AT WMG

Warner Music Group has made two key moves as part of its ongoing reorganization, with Eric Wong shifting to president, East West Records & head of Global A&R, Recorded Music, and Jessica Keeley-Carter rising to CMO, Recorded Music. The execs will report to WMG CEO Robert Kyncl.

Wong had held Keeley-Carter's title since 2020, following a long tenure at Island Records. He previously worked as SVP of Marketing at Atlantic.

Keeley-Carter spent eight years at Universal Music Group and also led Commercial Label Partnerships for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Meta. She's been with WMG since 2019, starting as SVP of Global Marketing and shifting to EVP in 2022.

“Eric’s newly created role leans into his longstanding relationships within the artistic community and his deep understanding of how music travels around the world," Kyncl said. "Jess is an expert marketer and an inventive leader, who will help us orchestrate best-in-class ways of cutting through the noise in an increasingly complex and cluttered world.”

Added Wong, “I’m excited to build even closer relationships with our artists and put greater firepower behind our worldwide network to connect the dots, unlock new value, and magnify opportunities for emerging talent."

“With the collective WMG team collaborating even more closely in our new structure, we’ll be set up to take our artists and labels to new heights," Keeley-Carter seconded.

Reports that Wong and Keeley-Carter have already redirected HITS' emails to spam could not be confirmed at deadline.
