COMBS, CHURCH LEAD CAROLINA HURRICANE BENEFIT

Luke Combs, Eric Church and James Taylor all spent formative time living and honing their musical craft in North Carolina, and now they're banding together with Billy Strings for a 10/26 benefit concert on behalf of those impacted by catastrophic Hurricane Helene flooding in several parts of the state.

Proceeds from the Concert for Carolina event at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, will aid relief efforts such as Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. Church will also donate through his Chief Cares Foundation, while fans can contribute to the North Carolina Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund through the concert's website.

Concert for Carolina is presented by Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority. It will be hosted by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley, with additional performers to be announced. Tickets go on sale Thursday (10/10).

"I told y’all I had something big planned for Carolina," Combs wrote on social media. "This concert took so much planning, work and coordination from so many people. I’m so thankful to everyone who helped make this a possibility on such short notice. 100% of all proceeds will be going directly to those who need it most."

Over the weekend, Church released a new single, "Darkest Hour (Helene Edit)," dedicated to “the unsung heroes [and] the people who show up when the world’s falling apart." All publishing royalties will benefit "the people of North Carolina."
