The momentum continues in a big way for the reunited Linkin Park, which now has two songs in the Top 15 of Spotify global: "The Emptiness Machine" (#9) and "Heavy Is the Crown" (#14).
It's a sizable success story for Warner Records' Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson, with the big streams even extending to catalog cuts like the 2003 anthem "Numb," at #34; "Faint," the chart's biggest gainer yesterday (9/30), soaring from #146 to #95; "In the End" (up 27 spots to #101); and "One Step Closer," which re-enters at #180.
"The Emptiness Machine" also remains the top rock song on the global chart.
Now fronted by co-vocalist Emily Armstrong, Linkin Park has been dropping music over the past few weeks ahead of the 11/15 release of its Warner album From Zero.
Rumors that Aaron and Tom are currently moshing in the downtown Los Angeles label's conference room couldn't be confirmed at press time.
