U.K. CHARTS: BLOSSOMS CLAIM FOURTH #1

Blossoms (pictured) have their fourth U.K. Official Albums #1 with Gary (ODD SK Recordings), which generated 86% of its total from physical sales. All but one of the Stockport group's prior full-lengths have reached the top of the chart.

Tom Walker’s second set, I Am (Relentless), lands at #4 today, followed by Jamie xx with In Waves (Young) at #5. Katy Perry is at #6 with 143 (EMI), her fifth Top 10 album. Future’s MIXTAPE PLUTO (Epic) is his 12th Top 40, at #11.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Taste” spends its fifth week at the top, giving the Island star 17 weeks at #1 this year. Labelmate Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” remains at #2. “Die With a Smile” (Atlantic/Interscope) by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars is up one to #4, while Roan’s “HOT TO GO!” rises two to #7. Her “Pink Pony Club” climbs six rungs to #15. “Somedays” (Solotoko) by Sonny Fodera, Jazzy and D.O.D claims a new peak of #9.

Just outside the Top 10, the self-released “Sailor Song” by Gigi Perez rises two to #11, and “The Door” (Warner Records) by Teddy Swims jumps three to #13.
